What Our Artists Made

ART OF THE HOME (39).png
ART OF THE HOME (39).png
ART OF THE HOME (39).png

From Our Creatives

For me chaos is not only just chaos, ordered chaos is the real chaos. Chaos can be understood as disorder, while order is its opposite. Then I take the orderly "art elements" and form an overlapping coating by constantly superimposing them, so how can this not be a kind of chaos...The chaos of the pre-sunrise period is silently lost as the rising sun dawns, and in the darkness of the night the secret is as if the pause button has been pressed

"

A chaotic system that appears totally random, unpredictable and uncontrollable, actually follows its own secret rules, and has a purpose and origin that can be explained. These rules can't be fully understood, since they are ever-changing and come from an unordinary starting point, like an inert chemical imbalance within the brain. The unrelenting overstimulation, overwhelm and inconsistency in mood and focus of ADHD is chaotic in definition, it has no pattern, and makes no sense. Yet as someone who lives with these symptoms daily, they are an expected part of life, and completely normal. Chaos is all about perspective.

- J.F

"

Chaos is a cause of creation, through accident or purpose, by natural or unnatural means, for positive or negative outcome, and that makes it a very powerful thing, but still something that cannot be controlled. So all in all, I mean to say that life is full of chaos, but chaos can be beautiful, and it should be cherished for all the times that it is.

- T.K

For me, chaos lives in the mind. I feel that chaos is something that no one can control. It is a state of madness that has been let loose. It is hard to control the feelings and thoughts that occur in our heads. That is what I believe is a big struggle for those with mental illnesses... Even though chaos often occurs in the real world, it is always happening in people’s minds. Therefore, we all have chaos living within us. It is up to us to decide if it is good or bad, and how we can try to control our unique minds that house this thing we call chaos.

- A.F

"

"

To me, chaos is hidden amongst the calmest of things- beyond the beauty of the night sky, behind the masks of the evil. We as human beings were born chaotic, bringing to our world both brilliant spectacles and catastrophic calamities. I wish for no chaos in this world; I dream of a land with eternal

peace. I wish for chaos, for it blasts rainbows of colors into our mundane lives.

Chaos, to me, is intricately linked with overstimulation—an emotion I know all too well. It's the sensation of being overwhelmed, feeling like the world is closing in on me. In these moments, words that might seem meaningless to others always find a way to creep back into my mind during my lowest points, making me feel stressed, powerless, and swarmed by the idea of chaos...This state of chaos swallows me, driving a wedge between me and clarity, leaving me to navigate a maze of overwhelming thoughts and emotions.
